Hello and Welcome!
My name is Melissa Marie. I am a hairstylist with over 10 years’ experience specializing in extensions and colour services!
To tell you a little bit about myself: I actually grew up in the hair industry - my mom was a hairstylist. From the age of 12, I could be found working in my mom’s salon doing little odd jobs, sweeping floors and chatting away with clients. After high school, I enrolled in hair school and completed my 2 year apprenticeship - then officially got my hair licence in 2013! During my early years, I had the opportunity to work in a Paul Mitchell-focused salon where I trained under talented stylists in various disciplines. For many years since, I am proud to have worked as an independent stylist!
I am passionate about education, always staying up-to-date with modern styles, trends and techniques! I am a certified BELLAMI hair extension stylist, and also certified in eyelash extensions. I love all things colour! From lived-in vibes to creative colours.
I started Chateau du Nord Studios with the goal of helping you feel your best. Whether it be for a special occasion, or just for when you need a little “pick me-up” to tackle the day (as a new mom, I know I sometimes do)!
